The GlamBot Experience

You have probably seen the clips online: a slow motion push toward someone on a red carpet, light and movement a phone camera cannot capture. This page explains what actually happens when a guest steps in front of the GlamBot at an event, from the coaching before the take to the moment the finished clip reaches their phone.

Stepping onto the carpet

The setup looks the way it does in the clips online. A red carpet and stanchions mark the spot, LED lighting is dialed in before guests arrive, and the robotic camera arm is ready on its mount. Guests line up behind the stanchions, watch the person ahead take a turn, and step onto the carpet when it is theirs. Everything is run by our own crew, so the only thing a guest has to bring is the few seconds they spend in front of the camera.

A director talks you through the move

Most guests have never been filmed by a robotic arm, and none of them need to have been. Before the arm runs, a director on our crew explains the move: where to stand, where to look, when to turn, toss, laugh, or hold still. That coaching happens for every guest, not just the first few. By the time the arm sweeps in for the slow motion pass, the guest already knows what to do, which is why the clips look composed rather than caught off guard.

The clip arrives while you are still standing there

The arm captures a cinematic slow motion clip, the kind of footage a phone camera cannot produce on its own. Delivery is immediate: the finished clip is sent straight to the guest's phone, ready to post before they have left the carpet area. There is nothing to sign up for later and no gallery link that shows up next week. For hosts, branded overlays are available, so a company name or event logo travels with every clip guests share.

Where this experience runs

The GlamBot works premieres, galas, corporate events, and conventions. It has worked the Los Angeles Convention Center and a Qualcomm corporate event, and the experience is the same at each: carpet, coaching, clip. The full setup, including the arm, the lighting, the carpet and stanchions, and the crew that operates it all, travels together. We are based in Palm Desert and serve Los Angeles and all of Southern California.
